Amycel Casing Spawns

Amycel produces two types of spawn that is used in the casing layer, Fusion and Profusion.  Fusion has a vermiculite base and Profusion contains a portion of Phase II compost in the formula.  Both are specially formulated for use in mushroom casing soil to promote rapid growth, early colonization of the casing soil and uniform pinning.  The advantages and benefits include faster cropping time and more uniform colonization and pin set.  They also significantly reduce the time from case to flush. Your productivity increases by producing more breaks per crop or more crops per year. 

Fusion and Profusion are made using the same rigid standards as Amycel grain spawn and offers many benefits over traditional compost-based CAC'ing materials.  This includes the freedom from the risk of contamination by molds, virus, nematodes or mummy. Fusion and Profusion provide for consistent performance throughout the year, eliminating variations that can be introduced with variable raw materials.  Both products contain vermiculite that serves as a marker to check on the uniformity of application.
